Tess is a dedicated occupational therapist with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts, bringing a unique blend of clinical expertise and creative energy to her practice. With diverse experience in outpatient hand therapy and a passion for helping seniors achieve their highest level of independence, Tess is committed to empowering her clients to live fulfilling and engaging lives.

Beyond her work in healthcare, Tess is also a skilled multimedia artist specializing in pottery and leatherwork, reflecting her belief in the importance of creativity in everyday life. Tess is passionate about living a balanced life, serving senior populations, and actively participating in the vibrant craft communities of Asheville and Black Mountain. When she’s not working with clients or creating art, Tess enjoys hiking, yoga, traveling, and hula hooping—activities that nourish her body, mind, and spirit. As a wife and cat mother of three, Tess leads by example, encouraging her clients to pursue occupations and leisure activities that promote holistic well-being.

Committed to promoting wellness, Karen is driven by her dedication to enhancing the lives of those she serves and ensures that everyone she works with feels truly valued and supported.

For the past 17 years, Karen and her husband have called the charming town of Weaverville, North Carolina, home, where they’ve lovingly raised their two children. Outside of work, Karen cherishes family time, enjoys the company of her two beloved dogs, and fills her home with the joy of singing and all kinds of music. Known for her infectious energy and motivational spirit, Karen brings a fun and uplifting presence to everyone she meets.
